There's only a single direction in which Praktiker Türkiye's Human Resources Policy and associated practices point: Steps that implement and reinforce this policy are taken in all fields from recruitment to performance management, and from training to salary management within the framework of a human resources policy based on creating value and a winning association. Recruitments in our company are based on competence. Interviews assess a candidate's skills, talent, motivation, and values as well as his/her experience. In our system built on Praktiker basic skills, vacancies are filled by the most suitable candidate selected on the basis of the basic skills fitting the company's vision, mission, goal, and corporate culture as well as special skills related to the job/position. Our training process begins with the orientation programs given to newly recruited staff. The training may take the form of on-the-job training, hands-on classroom training, or programs featuring simulations. The entire training system of Praktiker Türkiye is gathered under the canopy of the “ Praktiker University .” Praktiker Türkiye implements a Performance Management System covering its whole staff in keeping with its ideology of creating value and a winning association. In our process shaped according to the parameters of working technique, personal competence, knowledge/skills, and goal, the performances of the staff members are measured every six months and their future careers and development are planned out on the basis of the output received from the system. |
